Ferocious Dog

Known for their storytelling approach, their songs tackle social, political, and personal themes with honesty and bite, giving voice to perspectives often left unheard while maintaining a loyal connection with their audience. Over the years, they’ve evolved their sound without losing the grit and passion that first defined them, balancing thought-provoking lyricism with a dynamic, high-impact musical style.

Since emerging in 2011 with their debut single, the band have built a rich and varied catalogue, beginning with their first full-length album in 2013 and expanding through stripped-back releases like Ferocious Dog 3 Piece Acoustic and acoustic reinterpretations of From Without. Their rise has been marked by significant milestones, including becoming the first independent act to sell out Rock City in 2015, and the release of acclaimed albums such as From Without (2015), Red (2017), and Fake News & Propaganda (2019), each deepening their exploration of contemporary issues through compelling songwriting.

With The Hope (2021), Ferocious Dog reached new heights, topping the UK & Ireland Folk Album Charts and breaking into the national charts, reflecting their growing reach and resonance. Their latest album, Kleptocracy (2024), continues this trajectory, confronting themes of inequality and systemic injustice with urgency and conviction, earning critical praise and chart success. For Ferocious Dog, the mission remains clear: not to dictate opinions, but to hold a mirror up to the world and make people stop, think, and feel.
